Tesoro XP Employee Alerts – SMS Privacy Policy

Tesoro XP Employee Alerts sends informational messages (IT and system alerts, security alerts, schedule changes and office closure notices) from Tesoro XP, Inc. to company-owned employee phone numbers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or call us at 512-861-1514. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Mobile opt-in information, including phone numbers and SMS consent, will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use it only to send Tesoro XP Employee Alerts messages.

This policy explains how Tesoro XP, Inc. ("Tesoro XP," "we") handles information in the Tesoro XP Employee Alerts text message program (the "Program"). It applies only to this internal Program and does not replace or change Tesoro XP's customer privacy policy.

Who the Program is for

The Program is for current Tesoro XP employees only. We do not send Program messages to customers, prospects or the public.

We send messages only to phone numbers that Tesoro XP owns and assigns to employees for work: company-owned mobile devices and company-provisioned VoIP numbers, including Zoom Phone numbers. We do not send Program messages to personal phones or personal phone numbers.

Information we collect

The company-owned phone number assigned to an employee, and the name, department and role linked to it.
The signed SMS Enrollment & Consent Form for that number.
The dates a number was added to or removed from the Program, and any opt-out or opt-in request (such as STOP or START).
The content of messages sent and received through the Program, with delivery status and timestamps.

We do not collect personal phone numbers for this Program.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

Send work-related messages, such as IT and system alerts, security alerts, schedule changes and office closure notices.
Honor opt-out and help requests.
Keep records of which numbers are enrolled and of opt-out requests.
Troubleshoot delivery and keep the Program secure.

We do not use Program information for marketing or advertising.

How we share it

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only with the service providers that deliver the messages, such as Zoom Communications, Inc. and wireless carriers, and only as needed to operate the Program. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Retention

We keep message logs and enrollment records for 12 months, or longer if required by law. When a number is reassigned or an employee leaves Tesoro XP, that number is removed from the Program recipient list.

Security

Program information is stored in company-managed systems, with access limited to authorized IT and HR staff.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any Program message to stop receiving messages at that number. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Some messages, such as critical security alerts, may also be sent through other channels, such as email.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
